TERMS OF SERVICE

Last updated: 9 August 2026

1. Who we are

Chirai ("Chirai", "we", "us") is operated from India. Full legal entity name, registered address and contact details are on our Contact page. By creating an account or making a payment you agree to these terms.

2. What the service does

Chirai generates web and mobile application source code from natural-language prompts, provisions a database for the generated app, and deploys it to hosting. Code is produced by AI models. Output varies between runs and is not guaranteed to be identical, complete, or free of defects.

3. You own what you generate

You own the source code Chirai generates for you, including the right to modify, deploy, sell, and use it commercially. We claim no licence over your prompts, your uploaded assets, or your generated applications beyond what is needed to operate the service (storing, building and deploying them on your behalf).

Generated code may include open-source libraries under their own licences (MIT, Apache-2.0 and similar). Those licences continue to apply to those libraries.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for what you build and publish. You agree not to use Chirai to create anything unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or designed to harm others, and not to resell Chirai's generation capability as a competing generation service.

Review before you launch. AI-generated code can contain bugs and security weaknesses. If your application handles payments, personal data, or anything sensitive, have it reviewed by a competent developer before accepting real users. Chirai runs automated quality and repair checks on every build, but these reduce risk — they do not eliminate it.

5. Plans, billing and limits

Paid plans are billed in advance and grant a monthly build allowance:

Free — 1 app generation, no expiry. Source code download available for a separate one-time fee.
Pro — ₹3,136 / $33 per month, 4 app generations/month.
Agency — ₹9,999 / $99 per month, 14 app generations/month.

Unused builds do not carry over to the next month. Cancellation and refund terms are set out in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Indian Rupee prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; the USD price shown is a reference for international visitors — see our Refund Policy for how currency actually works at checkout.

We may change pricing with notice. Changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.

6. Payments

All payments are processed through PayU. We never see or store your card, UPI, or netbanking details — those are handled entirely by PayU, which is PCI-DSS compliant.

Separately, Chirai lets you configure third-party payment providers (such as Stripe or Razorpay) inside applications you generate, so your own generated store or marketplace can take payments from its own customers. That is independent of, and unrelated to, how you pay Chirai for your subscription.

7. Third-party services

Generated applications rely on third-party providers for hosting, database and payments. Their availability, pricing and terms are outside our control. Where you connect your own accounts, your relationship with those providers is directly with them.

8. Availability and limitation of liability

Chirai is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and builds may occasionally fail due to model, network or provider issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Chirai is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or loss of data in applications you deployed.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or initiates a fraudulent chargeback. Where reasonable we will contact you first. You may close your account at any time; your generated code remains yours.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at our registered location have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
